The table and bench seemed like a good place to start my woodworking hobby. Cut out some 'X' shaped legs and pin them together. Glue some cherry boards on top and screw it all together. There are so many mistakes on this project, based purely on ignorance, that I am honestly surprised it hasn't fallen apart yet. It has survived 2 moves and 2 children so I must have done something right.
