One of the more in-depth projects to date. The tiny non-functioning fireplace was not doing the space any favors. After opening the fireplace I reinforced the top with steel and skinned it with marble. Created built-ins with walnut tops and 3 floating walnut shelves above. Flip up pass-throughs for cable management to the tv and a bow tie to stabilize the checking on one of the tops. Overall this is one of my favorite projects because of how drastic the change was to the space.
