The hall bathroom was decked out with builder grade pieces and a 70's era floor. Once the walls and floors were demoed it was time to rebuild again. Cutting 12x12 marble tiles in 3 allowed a premium looking herringbone and border to be set. Subway tiles, a nook, and new plumbing was a true test of patience. This time around I wanted to try the mid-century modern look and went with a simple vanity with a hidden tp slot on the side. My second favorite wood is cherry but I was concerned it would not be durable enough for a guest bathroom. I attempted to stain Hard Maple to hit the same tones but the internet was correct, it is extremely difficult. Always trying to push my boundaries I made a custom concrete top with integral sink. Finally a medicine cabinet with rolling mirror for more hidden storage and that's a wrap.
